How Do I Estimate My Retirement Benefit?

Knowing your estimated pension benefit is key to retirement planning and can help you determine the amount of supplemental savings you may need to finance your retirement.

The service retirement calculator in your Online Personal Account populates with your current STRS Ohio account information. Use it to prepare an estimate (or even multiple estimates to evaluate various retirement dates or scenarios).

To get started:

  1. Log in to your Online Personal Account.
  2. Click on the “Calculations” tab.
  3. Click “Service Retirement.”

To view your saved estimate, click “My Documents” under the Useful Links section.
